Fall Reading List

It’s been awhile since I’ve pumped out what I’ve been reading this year so I thought it was time for a fall reading list!

Attached are just a few of the wonderful books that have taken my attention this year.  I hope it can spark you to pick one up or something else that you have wanted to read.

Books are a simple yet special treasure in this world.  Go find a local bookstore if you have some time this weekend and just lose yourself in it for an hour and see what you will find.  You’ll be surprised and may just find one of the thousands of hidden gems in that store!

Five books for your Fall Reading List!

1)David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants by Malcom Gladwell—It just came out on October 10th but holy smokes another masterpiece.  We don’t always need to pity the underdog, because when they win sometimes they are actually the favorite!

2)Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed—Do you like hiking, turn around stories, or sad but ultimately uplifting transformations?!  Give it a try!

3)A Simple Act of Gratitude: How Learning to say Thank You Changed my Life by John Kralik—Simple, to the point, and filled with easy ways we can improve the gratitude in our lives.

4)CTRL ALT DELETE: Reboot your Business. Reboot your Life.  Your future depends on it.  By Mitch Joel—Do you want to thrive and not just survive in your career??  Pick this bad boy up!

5)In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson—So unbelievably vivid about the start of the Hitler regime told by our American Ambassador as he witnessed it step by step…you would almost think it is a work of fiction.

I’ve read probably another two or three dozen that I enjoyed but this is a nice wide variety!  Oh and course “Hot Dogs A Little Marketing and A Lot of Fun!” if you haven’t picked up a copy yet of that!  It is available on the books page of my website.

Carpe Diem!
